Cos is the quintessential European progressive jazz-rock outfit, with a sound that links their 1970s Belgian scene to names from the Canterbury scene like Soft Machine, Gong or Hatfield and The North but also to the Krautrock movement of bands like Can and the likes, and France's most prominent Zeuhl pioneers like Magma or Zao.
Postaeolian Train Robbery is an obscure classic that has become a much sought after piece in the collector's market since it was originally released in 1974 and features Pascale Son's unique wordless vocals and nonsense syllables singing in a voice that some sources have compared to Flora Purim's.
