This is the debut leader album by bassist Takashi Mizuhashi, featuring the beautiful title track "When A Man Loves A Woman" and the epic 15-minute-plus "So What." The vibrant performances of the young Yoshio Otomo (alto saxophone) and Fumio Karashima (piano) are also not to be missed in this 5 stars 1974 live recording!
